My wife and I recently stayed at Villa Jwi Lavi Boutique Hotel in Saint Martin for a weekend getaway (March 29-31, 2025), and it was a delightful experience! This charming boutique hotel is tucked away in a peaceful spot in Cul-de-Sac, just a short drive from Grandes Cayes Beach, Orient Bay and Anse Marcel. The location is perfect if you’re looking for a quiet escape with easy access to some of the island’s best spots on the French side—though you’ll definitely need a car to get around. The room was spacious, modern, and spotlessly clean, with all the essentials: comfy bed, air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, and a private bathroom stocked with free toiletries. I loved the little touches like the electric kettle and the seating area—perfect for unwinding after a day out. Our rooms had a lovely balcony with sea views. The shared lounge and terrace were highlights for me. The pool area is small but inviting, and it was great to relax there with a view of Pinel Island in the distance. Breakfast was a simple continental affair—freshly baked croissants, juice, and coffee—but it hit the spot each morning. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, offering tips on nearby hikes and beaches, which made the stay feel personal and welcoming. Free Wi-Fi worked flawlessly, and the free private parking was a big plus. It’s not a luxury resort by any means, but for a boutique stay with a cozy, homey vibe, it’s hard to beat.
